day in Boston featuring Sail250®, an extraordinary gathering of international
tall ships and military vessels. The program begins with a three-course
family-style Italian lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy, followed by a narrated
cruise aboard the Charles Riverboat Lexington. Enjoy up-close views of these
magnificent ships from around the world while learning about their history
and significance in Boston Harbor. This unforgettable experience offers a front-row
seat to a once-in-a-generation historic event.

Join us for a mouthwatering day by the sea at the famous
Charlestown Seafood Festival, a beloved Rhode Island
tradition for 40 years. Feast on fresh-caught lobster, clam
cakes, chowder, and all your seafood favorites—plus plenty
of land-lover options, sweet treats, and refreshing beverages.
Beyond the food, enjoy live music, arts and crafts vendors,
and more. On Sunday, August 9th, the festival hosts the
Rhode Island Street Rodding Association’s car show. View
over 200 antique and unique vehicles from the region. It’s a
festive, fun-filled summer outing for a truly unforgettable New
England experience!

Join us for a memorable journey to Plymouth,
Massachusetts—America’s Hometown—where history comes
to life. Visit the restored Mayflower II, a full-scale reproduction
of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World, and
stop at the iconic Plymouth Rock, the legendary 1620 landing
site. Enjoy a waterfront luncheon buffet at Tavern on the
Wharf before a guided driving tour led by a knowledgeable
local expert. Highlights include Pilgrim Hall Museum, the
Forefathers Monument—the largest solid granite monument
in the U.S.—and Leyden Street, the oldest continuously
inhabited street in the original 13 colonies.

General Information
- All trips are subject to change in price and itinerary.
- Day tour cancellation policy applies to all Wallingford Park & Recreation day tours operated by Friendship Tours Inc. Any passenger that cancels a reservation 7 days or less prior to departure will not be eligible for a refund. We will examine cancellations on a case by case basis to determine any exceptions to this rule.
- Please note the Recreation Dept. will make every effort to send a representative from the office to see off the trip to and from our destination and to hear any complaints, concerns and or recommendations. It should be understood that this person is not a tour guide.
- Please retain the same seats throughout the trip.
- A tip for the coach driver is included in the trip fee.
- Please contribute only if you wish since the gratuity is included in the trip fees.
- Trips are rain or shine, unless the tour company cancels.
- Many trips involve walking tours; either with a tour guide or on your own.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
