FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIALS 2026-2027
The dance series you know and love is returning—with
a brand new name! Welcome to Friday Night Socials
(formerly Hip House), bringing you the same fun, music,
and excitement as always. The Parks & Recreation
Department is thrilled to welcome back all returning 7th
and 8th graders, and we’re especially excited to invite our
new 6th graders to join in on the fun this year. To attend
the dances, all students must purchase a Dance Pass, which
includes a required photo ID and provides entry to all six
dances throughout the season. If your child is new to
the program, the child must be present at registration
so their photo can be taken for the ID. Returning
participants who already have a 2025–2026 pass can simply
bring it in to receive a new sticker—your child does not
need to be present for this. Please note that all returning
participants must still register for the 2026–2027
season and pay the registration fee.
Dance passes will go on sale on July 27th for $40.
Beginning August 24th, the price will increase to $50, so
we encourage families to take advantage of the discounted
rate. Passes will not be sold in schools or on the day of the
dance, and students will not be permitted to enter without
a valid 2026–2027 Dance Pass. All dances will take place
from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Additionally, due to issues in the past,
outside food and drinks will not be allowed.
